Entry Criteria & Format
A FAMILY FOURSOMES STABLEFORD COMPETITION in which a SENIOR member of the Club partners a JUNIOR.
The JUNIOR must be at least 12 years old and Under 19 on the day of the competition.He/ she does not have to be a member of the Club.
This competition is an afternoon competition, running from 1pm to 4pm.
This is a TWO generation competition so, for example, brother-brother, brother-sister, cousin-cousin partnerships are not eligible because they are of the same generation-even if Senior and Junior members of the Club.
All competitors must have VALID HANDICAPS either at Elie or elsewhere to win a prize.
Handicaps & Scoring
Competition is handicap stableford foursomes against par (per the Men’s Card).
All must play from the boxes.
To ensure a fair level playing field the handicap for the pairing is calculated as follows:
All ladies and girls handicap indexes are increased by 5 shots.
Combined handicap of the two players (adjusted above as necessary) is halved to give the number of strokes the pairing receives.
